What If? 10/18/2020

What If I did?
What If I didn’t?
What If I said?
What If I couldn’t?

What If I knew?
What If I seen?
What If I went?
Can I just scream?

What If I wanted?
What If I got?
What If it happened?
What about NOT!?

What If I was?
What If I wasn’t?
Does it matter at all?
What choice do I got?

Life is full of what if,
Yet we seem to care.
Knowing that the future,
Is not one to share.

We are blind to what lays ahead,
A wall of doubt fills our heads.

So what do I do?
Where do I go?
The crossroads before me,
An answer bestowed.

What If today?
What If tomorrow?
Will it bring joy?
Will it bring Sorrow?

A bunch of what if’s,
With no end in sight.
A game of cards,
A game of dice.

What If from here,
Is nothing but chance.
Take the leap,
Grab my hand!

Let’s do it together,
With certain uncertainty.
Knowing the chances,
Counts on you and me.

For life is a risk,
If you don’t make a choice.
It will pass you by,
And regret is the voice.

So what do you say?
What will it be?
Where do you go?
Take a chance and see.

This is where we are,
Take a look at glance.
There is no sure answer,
Yet always a Chance.

There are no fairy tales,
That movies prescribe.
It’s waiting for the flip of the card,
Or the roll of the dice.

If you lay in wait,
And close your eyes.
What you have dreamed for,
Will just pass you by

There’s no promise of tomorrow,
Yesterday’s gone.
Were your plans met?
Did you go far?

Life is precious,
With only one shot.
Spend it wondering,
Or give it a shot?
What If?….

How can you answer the many what if’s?
Be on your toes,
Stand on the cliff’s?
